The Jewish Home Launches AHA-Certified Stroke Recovery Program in Freehold

The Jewish Home for Rehabilitation & Nursing in Freehold, N.J., has launched a specialized Stroke Recovery Program and earned the American Heart Association’s Skilled Nursing Facility Stroke Rehabilitation Certification, making it among the first in the region and nation to do so. Led by board-certified PM&R specialist Stacey Miller-Smith, MD, the program delivers individualized, evidence-based subacute stroke care focused on restoring mobility, strength, communication, and cognitive function. The certification recognizes the center’s commitment to rigorous, science-based standards that support improved outcomes for stroke survivors and their families.
